Football No Mo'

For the first time since about 1968 or so, I did not watch the Superbowl. I didn’t watch a  single NFL game all season, for that matter. Why not? ‘Cause it ain’t football anymore, especially after  this past year of COVID/take-a-knee/virtue signaling. It has morphed into some American/European soccer hybrid. With pads.

The wussification began with the three foot rule on wide receivers that Commissar Godawful imposed back, what, five, six years ago? They got rid of the horse collar. And blind side tackles. And anything else that resembled football. Now, if you look at the quarterback cross eyed you get a fifty yard penalty, loss of your next six touchdowns, half your salary taken, and your entire team goes to rehab. Which they’re usually in, anyway.

And then there’s all the baffling rules about a catch and a fumble and what the ground can, or cannot do, and challenges, with more red flags flying than a Chicom picnic, and you need an attorney and about ten minutes of review by the Supreme Court before you can call, or not call, a penalty. God help you if you take a step towards the quarterback while he’s posing back there and casually deciding which of his many untouchable receivers he can pitch to.

But, but, but...the game is now safer!

Safer? Safer! This is FOOTBALL!

Or it used to be. It’s a girly shadow of itself now, which I suppose is appropriate because today’s football players are girly shadows of their forerunners. Whining and simpering over social justice as they pocket unbelievable salaries to play a once-or-twice a week game that doesn’t even require them to have a real education. Which, based on the general inarticulateness and illogic, most of them don’t. They don’t even have to worry about getting hurt anymore. Especially if they’re a quarterback.

And if you think I’m going to watch a bunch of spoiled ingrates take a knee over something they can’t even explain while mouthing bumper sticker complaints about a country so terrible it gives halfwit pituitary cases like them a grand opportunity to make millions instead of working as a bouncer for their cousin’s illegal backyard bar, then no. Never again. Screw the NFL.

I’m going to watch golf, instead. At least it’s full contact.

How to Read Pravda

What do you do when you no longer believe a word that the news media says or writes? We ‘Muricans don’t know because we were spoiled by Walter Cronkite and Mike Wallace but fortunately, we have a model: the Russian people. They don’t believe what they’re hearing and reading any more than we do, but they’ve got a lot more experience with that. After all, they’ve had Pravda for nigh on 80 years now and, over the decades, they developed methods for eking the real news out of the lies they’re told. Since it looks like we’re heading into an all-Pravda-all-the-time environment, we’d best develop those same skills. So here’s some time tested, Russian-approved methods for reading the Post or the Times or listening to MSNBC and the rest of the propaganda stations without being fooled:

  1. Apply common sense: If the story doesn’t ring true, then it’s most likely not. Best example is the Russian Collusion accusations made against Trump during the 2016 election, and pretty much every day since. Common sense told you this was bogus. Hillary was a fellow traveler, a dedicated Alinskyite, a woman after their own Russkie hearts. Besides, they’d already paid her millions of dollars in bribes through the Clinton Foundation, and they already knew how incompetent and greedy she was. Easy button reset. So why go with a loose cannon like Trump? Uh uh. Russians are smarter than that.

  1. Who benefits: This is the first question a detective asks in a murder investigation, and since the media is murdering the truth, remains a valid technique. Best example, the Chinese COVID, which is a bad cold that only a tiny percentage of people get and to which an even tinier percentage succumb. Yet our businesses were shut down, we were placed under house arrest, and required to don masks. So, who benefitted from that? Well, the Democrats, who used the hyped panic as a means of ramming through unconstitutional voting methods to “protect” us from the zombie plague virus, thereby bringing off a coup. And they accrued extra benefits by destroying the economy. You have no choice but to place yourself under government control if you want to eat.

  1. What’s not said: That is the art of reading between the lines. Within the strident affect-embued opinions that pass for news today, there’s always something left out. Takes some practice spotting it, but here’s a good example: the “at least 60 courts have found no evidence of election fraud!” trope that’s now embedded in just about every news story. What they left out: not one of those courts have actually reviewed the evidence. They’ve all rejected the cases on technical grounds.

So start practicing. Pick up a New York Times, if you can stomach it, and read a couple of articles applying the above. You’ll be amazed how much you understand what’s really going on.

Dosvedanya, comrade.

We Will Not Move On

No, Lindsey Graham, we will not move on.

If someone stole your checkbook, Lindsey Graham, would you let them take over your bank account? Because that’s what you’re asking us to do. Just accept it. In fact, go ahead and put some more money into that stolen account.

Is that what you would do?

Apparently so. You even make excuses. “Oh, there was no election fraud! It’s all been disproved.” I gotta wonder, Lindsey Graham, to what disprovals you refer because not one single court has reviewed one single item of evidence. You’re either making it up or taking the assurances of thieves: “Oh, don’t worry, we’ll leave you enough to live on. Besides, there’s nothing you can do so move on.”

Actually, Lindsey Graham, you should move on. You, and the entire GOP sellout backstabbing Quisling party, so happy you’re back in a position where you can throw up your hands and say, “Sorry, we’re as mad as you are but we can’t do anything about it.” The thief stole the bank account, doncha know. Harumph and harumph and gotta save our phony baloney jobs.

But I’ll tell you what, Lindsey Graham, if you can prove to me that the election was fair and correct, then I’ll back you guys. Get a grand jury and lawyers and witnesses and evidence together and lay it all out; prove to me all the things I saw on election day were just my lying eyes.

Otherwise, Lindsey Graham, you’ve got 80 million Republican voters who witnessed a Soviet style coup, and witnessed you making excuses for it. 80 million people who no longer believe their votes count, that the Republican party no longer has their backs, and that they have no redress in the courts or Congress.

What will 80 million people convinced they have no recourse do?

Joe Biden is not the President

Joe Biden is not the President. Donald Trump is. What?!? But, but, electoral certification by Congress…!

If someone steals your checkbook, do they now own your bank account? And let’s be clear; the election was stolen. STOLE. EN. This was a coup, engineered by the Democrats. A coup. Soviet style.

All the people now screaming “conspiracy theory!” and “There’s no evidence!” must have served on the OJ jury. Even a cursory glance at the evidence is enough for a sane person to go, “Wait a minute, how’s that possible?” Democrats, though, are not sane.

My favorite bit of evidence is statistical: Joe Biden won 212 counties less than Obama did in 2012, and with 20 million more votes. So, you expect me to believe that, over an 8 year period, 60 million people crammed themselves into 212 fewer counties than they lived in during 2012, and brought 20 million more people with them? Did the losing counties notice the depopulation? Did the gaining counties notice the flood? Now we know where all those Mexican caravans went.

Maybe the gaining counties should have built walls.

Then there is the direct evidence: trunkloads of ballots pulled out from under tables and repeatedly run through Dominion machines, live and in color; people showing up to vote and finding they’ve already voted; truckloads of ballots shipped from one state to another; Italian IT people admitting they changed ballots to Biden and sent them to Frankfurt.

Oh, say the Democrats, that’s nothing. And besides, it wasn’t enough to overturn the results.

I beg to differ. It was a massive overturning of the true results, putting a Potemkin candidate into office with the most blatant and egregious election fraud since Maduro won Venezuela. Stalin would be proud of today’s Democrat party.

Saying it was just a little fraud here and there is like saying it’s just a little bank robbery here and there. Nothing to worry about. No need to lock the bank doors or put in cameras or declare bank robbery a crime. Just leave the bank robbers alone. Which is what the Dems are doing.

You have witnessed a successful Soviet overthrow of the United States, by the fifth columnist Dems who stand behind their Quisling.

And they wonder why we’re mad.

Overdue Indictments

Hilary Clinton: Involuntary Manslaughter, for her demand that the US relationship with Libya be "normalized," and then telling Ambassador Stephens to shut up already, you don't need any extra security, I just declared everything normal over there. Conspiracy to Commit Perjury, Providing False Statements, too, for that video, which doesn't make any difference, doncha know.

Eric Holder: Fraud and Diversion of Government Property, for Fast and Furious. Conspiracy to Commit Murder, for Fast and Furious. Malfeasance, for just about everything else he's done.

Leon Panetta: As a former Secretary of Defense, activate him in the military and then bring UCMJ charges of Dereliction of Duty and Conduct Unbecoming, for leaving Americans to die in battle without rendering aid. Then back to the civilian courts for False Statement about that video crap.

James Clapper: for being Stupid on Station. And Perjury.

Susan Rice: Conspiracy to Commit Perjury.

And, last but not least:

President Barack Obama: Managing a Criminal Enterprise.

When His Lips Move

I did not watch Obama on Leno last night. I don't watch any event where he's speaking, not even the State of the Union. I catch the highlights later on some news show or another. Why? Because everything the man says is either (a) a lie or (b) uses words in a way never intended.

Let's take that big speech at the National Defense University, where he said wars end and the war on terror is now over. This week, he closes 19 embassies because those on-the-run Al Qaeda guys we no longer have to worry about are going to launch attacks.

On Leno, he said he we don't need "a huge government." Wow! Yes! Right on, Mr. President! But, see, his definition of a smaller government is one without a Congress, a Supreme Court, a Bill of Rights or anything that could possibly oppose His Majesty. He would keep the military, but he'd rename it the Stazi.

Ignore his words. Pay attention to what he does, like the unilateral-and-illegal suspension of the employer mandate. He has threatened to veto a Congressional measure codifying the very same thing. You know what that means: he's going to enforce the mandate, despite what he said. When businesses go, "Hey! What's this? The IRS is making me pay!", he'll say they're mistaken, and then audit them.

Everything, every word the guy utters, is a lie. Except once, when he said he will fundamentally change the US.

That was dead-on accurate.

It's Just Stuff

"Zimmerman should never have gotten out of his car."

I keep hearing this, day after day, from people outraged by the Zimmerman verdict. If he had just stayed inside his car like the police told him to (yeah, I know, they never did say that. Indeed, they asked him what Trayvon Martin was doing, which Zimmerman could only find out by getting out of his car and following him) and didn't have his gun in hand (yeah, I know, that never happened, either) and wasn't racially profiling Trayvon (seems more like he was criminally profiling, not racially) then Trayvon would be alive today, able to teach his brother how to fight, finally get that Glock he's got his eye on, and help the local economy by smoking even more marijuana.

Not get out of his car? What?

Used to be, your castle, your neighborhood was inviolate, as was your person and the persons around you; criminals were scum, the police served the lawful, the courts threw the book and everybody was an actual individual responsible for their behavior. Then Marx and Heidegger and Sarte and all the rest of them started all that giggly stuff about no truth and no God and no responsibility and it was all fun, you know, we can be hippies and smoke dope and free love and don't judge me, you square, you fascist. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

And now.

We are to cower inside some kind of fortified location whenever some misunderstood victim of the white patrimony displays his righteous anger by entering our property and liberating crass commercial products we bought with money illegally obtained by the exploitation of the proletariat. We are to place a call to the designated authorities, who will dispatch a properly trained and licensed official to detain the heroic member of the working classes while we wait and do nothing in the interim because, well, you have insurance, and life is too precious for you or the heroic representative of the oppressed underclass to become injured or gasp! be killed over something as unimportant as your stereo you're still trying to pay off and the diamonds you inherited from a great-grandmother. And if the police are delayed and the guy gets away with everything you own, well. It's just stuff. Get over it.

And should you, through your own inability to understand the subtleties and nuances of the rich cultures that give our country so much flavor and diversity, find yourself being pummeled into Jello by a righteously angry member of one of those said cultures (which have flourished despite your white patrimonic oppression), then you must gauge at what point the beating has changed from nothing more than a cultural expression ("whoop-ass") to an actual life-threatening event. But because your white racist thinking makes you incapable of judging that on your own, just endure it. You can later sue the poor misunderstood heroic member of the underclass, or your widow can.

Just stay in your car. Oppressor.
